Until You Bloom

Until You Bloom

Closed off from the world, wrapped in nature’s Freedom

Fragile pink arms, velvet petals patient and Strong

Withholding fragrance, beauty still Generous

Preserving your life with sweet Abandon

Depressed breath, waiting for Joy

Uncertain of time, to Decide

Life overcoming Death

Wilt not but,

Bloom

What a lovely pink. Did the photo inspire the poem, or the poem the photo?

I love the featured photo…a moment of such beautiful anticipation. Your poem and wonderful reading brings the anticipation to life. Imagining the opening of the pink petals and release of the sweet fragrance has me longing… 💖

Exactly, I think we can all be a little bit like this flower. It’s about timing and knowing when its best for us. 🙂

What an awesome closing 😃 How are you doing Sonyo? This is Amir and I hope you remember me. I was just browsing through the list of the people who follow my blog and yours was the only one that sounded familiar enough for me to say “hi” to you here. 💖

As you know me, I don’t read people’s blogs. I mostly write my emotions and thoughts away which is strange since I never needed it in my past. Anyways, I loved your pic with the newly-born baby so much that I posted it on my own blog at https://aatayyab.wordpress.com/2019/06/07/sonyo-estavillo-in-the-middle-of-keyboards/ . What strikes me in the picture is your resolve to sill write when you just gave birth to a brand new human being on this planet earth.

That moment captured by probably your hubby was simply beautiful beyond words. I will stop here except that the joy that my heart felt via that picture, will continue. Pls accept my heartiest prayers and best wishes for yourself and your loved ones. 😍💕👍
